Art Margeotes is pleased to announce that client, New Jersey Rapper “Albee Al The Gladiator” has been released from prison. Albee’s real name, Albert Robinson, was charged for allegedly taking part in a 2019 non-fatal shooting in Passaic County. He was charged with attempted murder and has been incarcerated in the Bergen County jail for the past eight months. This case received a lot of attention in the New Jersey media.
Margeotes represents Robinson with his law partner, Jay Surgent. Adrienne Edward of the Law Office of Adrienne D. Edward, P.C. served as co-counsel.
“On behalf of Mr. Robinson, Jay and I filed and successfully argued a Motion to Suppress Evidence that led to the Prosecutor’s Office reducing their plea offer to aggravated assault and resolving this case,” says Margeotes. He adds, “Obviously we are pleased with this outcome as Mr. Robinson was facing a 10 to 20 years prison sentence.”
